The Brown men’s lacrosse team will end its regular season by facing No. 9 Yale on Saturday, April 25, with the game set to begin at noon at Stevenson-Pincince Field in Providence.
This matchup is significant as it marks the last game of the season for Brown, which currently holds a record of six wins and six losses overall, and one win and four losses in Ivy League play. The team will also honor its 13-member senior class before the opening face-off.
Key players for Brown include Jeremy Hopsicker, who ranks second in the Ivy League for goals per game and total goals. Marcus Wertheim is among the top ten in assists per game, total assists, points per game, and total points within the league. Historically, Brown has a slight edge over Yale with a record of thirty-five wins to thirty-three losses all-time between these teams; at home games played by Brown against Yale stand at twenty wins to twelve losses. However, Brown will aim to break a three-game losing streak against Yale during this weekend’s match-up.
