Brown University’s women’s crew team will compete in the Ivy Invitational at Lake Carnegie on April 11, following a strong showing with five wins against Dartmouth last weekend. The event marks the team’s first appearance at the Ivy Invitational since the previous season, where Brown won ten out of twelve races.

The upcoming races are significant as they provide opportunities for Brown to continue its recent successes and build momentum heading into key competitions. On Sunday, Brown is scheduled to race against Columbia and Boston University at Overpeck Park in Bergen County, New Jersey.

The Bears previously faced Columbia during the opening day of the 2025 Ivy Championship, where they secured a victory over the Lions to advance to the Grand Final. Their most recent contest with Boston University occurred at the 2025 Eastern Sprints; Brown defeated BU in their heat before earning second place overall in that event.

The Brown University Sports Foundation supports athletics through donations from alumni, parents, fans, and friends. According to information provided by Brown Athletics, contributions made through BUSF help enhance student-athlete experiences both academically and athletically.
