The Bryant University softball team will travel to Easton, Massachusetts, to play Stonehill in the final game of the regular season on April 29.

This matchup marks an important conclusion to the Bulldogs’ schedule before entering postseason play. The game is set for a 4:00 PM ET start and will be available for viewing on NEC FrontRow with live statistics provided by Sidearm Stats.

Bryant holds a strong record against Stonehill, leading the all-time series 14-1 and having won the last 14 meetings. This contest will be their first encounter since 2024. The Bulldogs recently swept Maine over the weekend, which secured them the America East Regular Season Title and granted them the number one seed for the upcoming America East Playoffs for the first time in their Division I program history.

Individually, Bryce Clendenin has been a key contributor, posting a .344 batting average while leading Bryant in hits (33), doubles (7), runs batted in (23), and tying for home runs (3). Maddy Wachter has achieved career bests this season with an earned run average of 2.95, WHIP of 1.16, eleven wins and complete games each, as well as holding opponents to a .238 batting average. Despite these successes, Bryant has faced challenges on the road this year with a record of five wins and eleven losses away from home.

Stonehill enters Wednesday’s contest with an overall record of twelve wins and thirty-three losses and stands at five wins out of thirteen games played at home. Juli Murillo leads her team offensively with fifty-two hits, a .371 batting average, and ten doubles; teammates Harper Sullivan and Sarah Taylor have also surpassed forty hits each this season.

The outcome of this game will determine momentum heading into postseason play for both teams.
