Bryant women’s bowling wins NU Spring Classic with strong weekend performance

The Bryant University women’s bowling team, ranked No. 24 nationally, secured victory at the NU Spring Classic in Niagara Falls, New York, over the weekend. The Bulldogs completed the tournament with an 8-1 record, bringing their overall season tally to 47 wins and 28 losses.

On Saturday, Bryant won all four of its matches against D’Youville, Merrimack, Penn State Behrend, and William Smith College. The team continued its strong performance on Sunday by winning four out of five matches, including victories over No. 11 Niagara and two wins against Mercyhurst.

Sophomore Madison Damer played a key role for Bryant by finishing sixth individually in the tournament and earning a spot on the All-Tournament team.

Bryant has now finished its regular season and is preparing for the ECC Championships scheduled from March 20 to March 22 at Bowler City Lanes in Hackensack, New Jersey.
