Providence College men’s lacrosse player Cam Sterritt has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the second time this season. The announcement was made on Monday, February 23.
Sterritt, a sophomore from Brampton, Ontario, recorded a career-high 18 saves with a .692 save percentage during Providence’s overtime loss to Brown on Saturday, February 21. So far this season, he has started all four games for the Friars and has totaled 58 saves with a .598 save percentage.
He currently leads the BIG EAST in saves per game at 14.50 and is second in both save percentage (.598) and goals against average (9.68). Nationally among NCAA Division I players, Sterritt ranks fourth in saves per game and seventh in save percentage.
The Friars are set to host Fairfield on Saturday, February 28 at Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium in Providence, Rhode Island. The game will begin at noon and will be broadcast on ESPN+.
