Of the 71,844 people living in Pawtucket in 2019, 49.4 percent (35,517) were women and 50.6 percent (36,327) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Providence Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 23,996-to-23,494. In the 65 and over age range, there were 5,185 females and 4,135 males.
