Of the 41,603 people living in Woonsocket in 2019, 51.4 percent (21,394) were women and 48.6 percent (20,209) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Providence Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 13,967-to-12,927. In the 65 and over age range, there were 3,270 females and 2,437 males.
