Four members of the Brown University women’s swimming and diving team were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, according to an April 7 announcement. The honorees are Kelly Dolce, Natalie Garre, Morgan Lukinac, and Elena Yeh. This is the first time each athlete has received this recognition.
The award highlights student-athletes who have excelled both in their sport and academically. To be considered for the honor, candidates must have participated in at least 75 percent of their team’s competitions, finished in the top eight at a conference meet or competed at a national meet, maintained a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, and reached sophomore athletic eligibility.
Dolce contributed as a member of both the 400-meter relay and 800-meter relay teams that won titles at the Ivy League Women’s Swimming and Diving Championship in 2026. She also helped set a new program record with the 400 relay squad. In individual events during the season, Dolce earned two victories and achieved multiple top finishes at Ivy Championships.
Garre set program records in three freestyle distances during her first year on campus—500 meters, 1000 meters, and 1650 meters—with two records still standing as of this season. She qualified for NCAA competition with her times in both the 500 free and 1000 free events.
Lukinac returned from injury for her senior campaign to win four gold medals at the Ivy Championship—including individual wins—and helped break school records as part of two relay teams. Yeh placed fourth in one-meter diving and eighth in three-meter diving while qualifying for NCAA Zone A Diving.
The selection recognizes not only athletic achievement but also academic commitment among collegiate athletes.
