The Rhode Island State Council on the Arts (RISCA) has announced a new exhibition titled “Journeys: A Personal Perspective” at the Atrium Gallery in Providence. The exhibit is curated by Nancy Gaucher-Thomas of East Greenwich.
The opening reception will be held on Tuesday, September 30, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Atrium Gallery, located on the first floor of the state’s Administration Building at One Capitol Hill in Providence. The event is free and open to the public.
Artist Mary Ann Rossoni of Providence will perform during the reception. The exhibition features works by artists Megan Bent, Tom Culora, John Fazzino, Rebecca Flores, Eran Fraenkel, Sarah Hardesty, Karen Harris, Ian Mohon, Eileen McCarney Muldoon, Rita Naram, Brian Quinn, Adèle Saint-Pierre, Howard Rotblat-Walker and Walter Zekanoski.
The exhibition will be open to visitors from September 26 through January 21 on weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., offering community members an opportunity to view diverse artistic perspectives.
“Art Unites Communities” is part of RISCA’s ongoing effort to promote art within Rhode Island and provide local artists with a platform to share their work with the public.
