Ruby Sliwkowski of the Brown women’s lacrosse team was named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week, according to an announcement by the Ivy League on April 6.
The recognition highlights Sliwkowski’s recent performance, including her game-winning goal in Brown’s 13-12 victory at Columbia on April 4. She matched a career-high with four goals and contributed two assists, two ground balls, one caused turnover, and one draw control in that game. In Brown’s earlier win over Vermont on April 1, she recorded three goals and two assists.
Over her last three games, Sliwkowski has scored ten goals and provided five assists. She currently leads the Bears in goals with 28, as well as in assists and points. Her average of 4.27 points per game ranks fourth among all players in the Ivy League.
Sliwkowski and her teammates will return home to play Dartmouth on Saturday, April 11 at Stevenson-Pincince Field. The opening draw is scheduled for 3:30 p.m., after which Brown will honor its nine-member senior class.
The university also encourages support through the Brown University Sports Foundation to help enhance student-athlete experiences.
