Six Brown women’s lacrosse players receive All-Ivy honors for 2026 season

Ruby Sliwkowski of the Brown women’s lacrosse team was named First Team All-Ivy as six Bears earned conference recognition, according to an April 28 announcement by the Ivy League.

The awards highlight achievements by student-athletes during the regular season and reflect their contributions to both their team and the league. These honors recognize individual performance and academic excellence among Brown’s athletes.

Sliwkowski led the Bears in goals, assists, and points this season. She finished with 38 goals, 24 assists, and a total of 62 points. Sliwkowski ranks second in the Ivy League in points per game (4.43), sixth in goals per game (2.71), and ninth in assists per game (1.71). She was also named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week after scoring five goals with three assists in Brown’s overtime win against Penn on April 26. “Sliwkowski’s overtime game-winning goal lifted the Bears into the Ivy League Tournament for the second-straight season,” according to the release.

Riley Peterson received Second Team All-Ivy honors after recording a career-high 20 goals and securing a career-high 23 draw controls this year. Peterson has started every game over two seasons at Brown, scoring in all but two games this season with multiple-goal performances on five occasions.

Tessie Batchelder earned her first-career All-Ivy honor by scoring 27 goals and adding nine assists while maintaining a streak of scoring in twelve consecutive games. Codi Johnson received Honorable Mention recognition for her defensive play; she matched her career high with fifteen ground balls this year and scored her first collegiate goal during Brown’s home opener against Holy Cross on February 19. Cece Korn also received Honorable Mention after starting all fourteen games, setting personal bests for ground balls (23) and caused turnovers (12).

Kiki Tormey was named Academic All-Ivy after achieving personal bests with eleven goals and three assists while preparing to graduate from Brown University with a degree in Applied Mathematics.

Brown is scheduled to begin play at the Ivy League Tournament on Friday, May 1 against top-seeded Yale at Reese Stadium.
