Bryant vs. UConn
- UConn owns an 8-4-1 record in the series between the two programs. The Huskies have won the last two, including a 9-8 victory last year in Storrs.
- Bryant's last win came in 2017 when the Bulldogs beat the then-No. 25 Huskies 9-3 at Conaty Park.
- Bryant is coming off a series victory over Rhode Island, winning games one and three of the series. The Bulldogs won the first game, 8-6, in 10 innings and held on for a 3-2 victory in Sunday's finale.
- Bryant will be playing a ranked team for the third time this season. The Bulldogs swept No. 12 East Carolina to open the season but were swept by No. 24 Old Dominion two weeks later.
- Matt Woods leads the team with a .317 average to go along with six doubles, two triples and a home run.
- Derek Smith (14) and Logan Allen (12) are first and second on the team in runs scored, with Smith also adding nine RBI.
- Jackson Phinney and Alex Lane both contributed a pair of home runs last weekend at URI, with Lane now leading the team with three.
- Bryant ranks among the top 150 in the nation in both strikeouts per nine and walks per nine. The Bulldogs have registered nearly a strikeout per inning and have walked just 61.
