Chase Simao (Stonington, Conn.) - Sophomore - Bridgewater State
Simao was named LEC Swimmer of the Week after he captured top honors in two individual events to lead the way for Bridgewater State in a 229-156 season-opening setback to Division II Saint Michael's College. He was the first to touch the wall in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.25) and the 100 individual medley (1:00.83) at the meet. Simao also finished fourth in the 200 freestyle (1:56.97) and swam a leg on the third-place 200 medley relay (1:47.15).
