Providence Police Department recently issued the following announcement.

Open Paint + Amateur Photography Day
Every Friday 10am-3:30pm
Mingle with like-minded artists and nature lovers at the Botanical Center. Guests are welcome to bring a sketch pad, water colors and washable paints and to take photographs.
Please note that special photography equipment is not allowed without a permit. Painters must use only nontoxic, unscented paints. For questions about the photography policy refer to link: https://www.providenceri.gov/botanical/photography-policy/
