Lewis repeated as the LEC Player of the Week after earning medalist honors at Eastern Connecticut’s two-day Rose City Invitational, helping lead the Warriors to the team title at Norwich Country Club. He fired a one-under par round of 70 on the opening day of the tournament Sunday before shooting a 74 on the second day Monday, giving him a two-day total of 144 and a narrow one-stroke victory. Bruins Slot was named the LEC Rookie of the Week following a pair of strong performances last week, which started with him earning medalist honors at the Emmanuel Invitational after carding a 76 at the four-team event. He then followed with a fifth-place finish at Eastern Connecticut’s Rose City Invitational, putting up a two-day total of 159 after shooting a four-over par round of 75 Sunday followed by an 84 on Monday.
