Of the 71,821 citizens living in Pawtucket in 2020, 56,824 were old enough to vote as of March 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 28,876 of those people were female and 27,948 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
