Offensive Player of the Week
Abbi Debes, Western Connecticut
Debes was named the LEC Offensive Player of the Week after totaling 23 kills and 27.5 total points while hitting .595 in a 2-0 week for the Wolves. She hit .517 with 16 kills and one error on 29 attempts to go with four blocks (two solo) in a sweep of Southern Maine before scoring seven kills on eight attempts for a .875 hitting percentage in a sweep of Mount Saint Vincent.
Defensive Player of the Week
Makayla Marucci (Newton, Mass.) - Sophomore- Libero - Plymouth State
Marucci was named the LEC Defensive Player of the Week after totaling 40 digs in a 2-1 for the Panthers to close out the regular season. She has 10 digs in a sweep of Colby-Sawyer, 12 digs in a five-set win over Gordon, and 18 digs in a 3-0 setback to Endicott.
Rookie of the Week
Amelia Devlin (West Chester, Pa.) - Freshman - Setter - UMass Boston
Devlin was named the LEC Rookie of the Week after she handed out 25 assists in a sweep of Castleton to cap the regular season and clinch the No. 6 seed in this week’s conference tournament for the Beacons. She also contributed six digs, two kills and two aces in the victory.
