For the second week in a row, the Keene State College men’s basketball team holds the No. 6 six spot in the D3hoops.com Poll, while Western Connecticut State University remains in the receiving votes listing.

The Owls, who are just a single point back of No. 5 Mount Union, improved to 19-1 overall and 11-0 in the Little East Conference after notching a pair of road wins in league play last week. Keene State opened the week with an 80-63 win at Plymouth State University before notching a 90-68 triumph at Rhode Island College.

The Wolves record moved to 17-1 overall and 9-1 in the LEC entering this week’s action following a pair of road victories of their own last week. WestConn grinded out a 79-75 win at UMass Boston before registering a 98-80 triumph at UMass Dartmouth.

The Wolves opened this week’s slate with a 106-86 home victory over Castleton University, and will next host Rhode Island College Wednesday night before capping off the week hosting Keene State Saturday. The Owls open this week’s action at home against Eastern Connecticut State University Wednesday.
