WARD 6 SPECIAL ELECTION NOTICE
The state Board of Elections has approved polling locations for the Cranston City Council Ward 6 Special Primary on Sept. 5, and the Special Election on Oct. 3, 2023. Attention Ward 6 Voters: Your polling place may have changed. Check your polling place online at vote.ri.gov (https://vote.sos.ri.gov/Home/PollingPlaces?ActiveFlag=2). Polling locations are also viewable on the attached Ward 6 map.
You can only vote at your assigned polling place on election day. Please note that early voting for this special election and special primary will take place during business hours at Cranston City Hall, beginning 20 days before the primary/election. Polling places and early voting locations are subject to change for future elections, and you should always confirm your polling location before voting. All Ward 6 voter households will additionally be mailed a notice by the Board of Canvassers informing them of the assigned polling place for their address for this special primary and special election.
Only Ward 6 has a special primary (if necessary) and a special election this year. The City of Cranston is not located in Congressional District 1, and no Cranston voters are eligible to vote in the Congressional District 1 Special Election.
If you have any questions, please contact the Canvassing Authority at 401-780-3121.
