State employee art exhibit open at Atrium Gallery until March

The Rhode Island State Council on the Arts (RISCA) has announced that artworks created by current and retired Rhode Island state employees are now being exhibited at the Atrium Gallery located at One Capitol Hill. The display will be available for viewing until March 5.

The exhibition, themed "Transformation," showcases a variety of original artworks including acrylic and oil paintings, photographs, fashion pieces, prints, and watercolors. More than 40 individuals from approximately 25 different state departments and divisions have contributed to this year's event.

An opening reception is scheduled for Thursday, March 6, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., taking place at One Capitol Hill in Providence.

Details of the exhibit are as follows:

- What: "Transformation," an exhibition featuring works by retired and current R.I. employees.

- When: On display until March 5; open to the public on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

- Where: First floor of the state's Administration Building, One Capitol Hill, Providence.
